Platform Credit Use Policy
Acceptance of Platform credit use policy.
By purchasing, receiving, or using Arcs on the Arclocked platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Platform credit use policy, together with any applicable platform terms and policies referenced herein. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not purchase, receive, or use Arcs.

1. Definition of Arcs
Arcs are prepaid platform credits that may be purchased and stored within a user’s account on arclocked.com. They represent an internal account balance that can be used exclusively to pay for products available on the platform.
Arcs are not legal tender, are not cryptocurrency, and are not electronic money or stored fiat funds. They do not constitute a payment account or a bank account. Arcs may only be used within arclocked.com and have no value outside the platform.
2. Purchasing Arcs
2.1 Payment and Exchange Rate. Arcs may be purchased through the supported payment methods made available on the platform. The exchange rate is fixed at 1 Arc equaling 1 EUR. When Arcs are purchased using a currency other than EUR, the number of Arcs credited to the user’s account will be calculated based on the applicable EUR exchange rate at the time of purchase.
2.2 Top-Up Limits. The minimum top-up amount is 5 Arcs, while the maximum top-up amount per transaction is 1,000 Arcs. The platform reserves the right to modify available top-up limits at its discretion.
3. Earning Arcs Through Promotions
3.1 Promotional and Reward-Based Arcs. In addition to purchasing Arcs, users may receive Arcs at the platform’s discretion through promotional campaigns, loyalty programs, achievement-based rewards, or manual account adjustments.
3.2 Discretionary Nature. The granting of promotional or reward-based Arcs is not guaranteed and may be modified, limited, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.
4. Using Arcs
4.1 Scope of Use. Arcs may be used to pay for up to 100% of the order value for any product available on the platform.
4.2 Usage Conditions. Arcs are applied at checkout and may only be used on arclocked.com. They cannot be transferred between user accounts, exchanged for cash, or withdrawn in any form.
4.3 Completion of Use. Once Arcs have been applied to a completed order, they are considered spent unless a refund is granted in accordance with this policy.
5. Refunds and Chargebacks
5.1 Purchases Made Using Arcs. If a purchase paid for using Arcs is refunded, the corresponding amount of Arcs will be credited back to the user’s Arc balance.
5.2 Arc Top-Up Refunds. Refunds related to Arc top-ups are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If a refund is approved, the refunded amount will be returned to the original payment method. The refunded value will correspond to the Arc amount refunded and will be converted into the payment currency at the applicable exchange rate.
5.3 Refund Limitations. The platform reserves the right to deny refunds for Arcs that have been fully or partially used, as well as in cases of suspected abuse or fraudulent activity.
6. Expiration and Validity
6.1 Validity Period. Arcs do not expire and remain valid indefinitely unless they are used by the account holder, removed due to a refund, reversal, or correction, or forfeited under applicable account enforcement provisions.
7. Transferability and Ownership
7.1 Transfer Restrictions. Arcs are strictly non-transferable and may not be sold, gifted, or assigned to another party.
7.2 Ownership and Value. Arcs do not confer ownership rights, do not accrue interest, and do not yield any form of return. All Arcs remain the property of the platform until they are redeemed through eligible purchases.
8. Account Suspension and Termination
8.1 Enforcement Review. In the event that an account is suspended or terminated due to a breach of platform policies, each case will be reviewed individually.
8.2 Balance Handling. Any remaining Arc balance may be forfeited or refunded at the platform’s discretion. No refunds are guaranteed in cases involving fraud, abuse, or other policy violations.
9. Abuse Prevention
9.1 Platform Rights. To protect platform integrity, the platform reserves the right to adjust or remove Arc balances obtained through error, abuse, or manipulation, suspend Arc functionality for specific accounts, or impose limitations on Arc usage.
10. Modifications and Termination
10.1 Policy Changes. The platform may modify the Arcs system, including how Arcs are earned, used, or made available, at any time.
10.2 Program Discontinuation. The platform may suspend or discontinue the Arcs program entirely. Where reasonably possible, users will be notified in advance of material changes. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 Liability Scope. The platform is not liable for losses of Arcs resulting from unauthorized account access caused by user negligence, technical errors beyond the platform’s reasonable control, or changes to Arc availability or functionality.
